It started off a bit literal- I was on John’s case; then I brought it back:
Today was about simplicity, but the right kind of simplicity at the right time.
Then you have to know when the cadence has gone, when it’s buckled. Goes against all this complex drumming thing.
Her vocals were getting right inside the thing, not something culturally given like ‘Daisy Daisy’. She’s totally with the music.
